sidebar tricks ...

Too many blogs are lifeless and the content is dull. You can make a change by livening up your sidebar. You can add photos, html links, videos, feeds and blocks of text. Until recently this had to be done on an HTML editor (template), many of the new blog styles have a simpler method through 'layout'. Many blogs hardly use the sidebar facility at all.

Check our family of blogs to see what you can do with the sidebar!

help is at hand

I've seen a lot of vile blogsites in my time - slabs of solid boring text, no pictures, the default sidebar, nothing interactive - though sometimes with a very optimistic adsense block at the top!

I didn't start blogging till a year ago but I've learnt on the job and now have 14. The only advantages I have are an MA in Creative Writing and a 30 year+ collection of photos.

So with this blog I hope I can give you tips on how to create good content, perhaps generate an income and get a steady and loyal readership. Welcome aboard!
